THE FINAL COMPETITION

It is hard to believe that our season is over.  It seems as if it only just started.  We have had a complete redo of the show,  a change in uniform, a lot of learning, a lot of fun, making new friends, it has been worth every minute to be a part of

AMERICAN FORK COLOR GUARDS!!!

Competition #4 - Utah Valley University

Happy St Patrick's Day!

We celebrated the holiday by having a Winter Guard competition at Utah Valley University.  We had a good show and continue to get better each week. 

Next up is the Championship's  - we have three weeks to get ready.  BRING IT ON!

Competition #3 - West High School (again)

Back to West High School in downtown Salt Lake City for our third competition. 

As we enter the competition floor, we huddle together and shout out our GOOD LUCK cheer!

Hey did you notice we had a change in the top of our uniform.  We like them!

Competition #2 - American Fork

How fun to be at  home for a competition.  No long bus ride, the whole family can come to the show, we know where things are in the school, we can warmup in the band room.  Competition at our home school are GREAT!

Can you see those smiles on our faces?  Yes those are really happy faces of the captains, as they hold their plaque, with a THIRD PLACE label on it!  CONGRATS!!!

West High School - Competition #1

We had our first competition at West High School on February 18th.  We were one of the early guards to compete this week, which was GREAT, we got to do our show and then watch all of the other guards.  That was fun.  Each show was exciting and different.  It was a long time to wait and wonder about our show, how did we do?  What did thejudges think? 

Our first competition day ended with excitement and joy, we placed 7th in our division.  We are so happy with how we did and know that we will continue to get better and better.
